Wooden Card Table

When it comes to wooden card table, I know of only one that really standouts the most, like a gem among rubbish. Here is the gem I’m referring to:

Scalloped All Wood Folding Card Table

Gorgeous looking table isn’t it? See the problem with buying wood folding card tables is that many are not actually made of solid wood. Of course determining the quality is not a problem if you’re buying the table from a retail store. But if you’re planning to buy one via the internet, then you have to exercise caution and do you due diligence to ensure you get your money’s worth.

So the beautiful table you see up there is straight up solid wood with scalloped design that gives it a highly elegant appearance. Without the scalloped construction, the table would have looked a little bland. I know card tables are supposed to look plain and boring but hey, the wooden ones should have a little “artsy” in design. The plastic, resin and metal ones can look bland for all I care...

Anyway, you can tell by just looking at the photo that this wooden folding card table is incredibly sturdy. Indeed the table is sturdy and can be folded without hassle. And like many other folding tables out there, this wooden beauty here comes fully assembled. There’s nothing else to do except fold and unfold. The size is 29"x 32".

This is a super quality product and no two ways about it. I tell you, if there ever was an Oscar-type award for folding wooden card tables, I’ll hand it to this table in a heartbeat.

Light Walnut Folding Café Table

This is isn’t exactly a card table but I do believe it’s worth a look because it’s such a high quality, wonderfully crafted piece of furniture, and you can play cards on it as well! It’s about the same height as the scalloped all wood card table but with slightly less width 30” instead of 32”. No big deal. Even at 30”, the table has enough space for 4 adults.

The unique thing about this table is the manual button press feature that releases the locking hinges. See, in order to keep the legs from accidentally folding during use, each leg is equipped with a locking hinge for maximum stability. To open it, you just push the lock button and voila! Now you can fold the table and store it behind your sofa or under the bed.

When folded the table is about 5” in height so can be put away virtually anywhere. Also like the scalloped wood table, this one requires zero assembly and has a handle to help you carry it around with ease. This light walnut table as well as the scalloped one are outstanding folding wooden card tables and would hold up for a VERY long time due their exceptional construction.
